Can you believe this is my fifth goals post? I never used to like setting goals or having new year resolutions, but now I really enjoy it. It’s good to take some time at the beginning of the year and think of some of the things I’d like to achieve. Plus it helps to keep me on track and keep me motivated.
These are my 2022 goals.
Blog More
I really fell off with blogging in 2021, but in late December I started to write some posts and I really enjoyed it. As I’m writing this I have three posts scheduled and I’m feeling excited to be doing it again. Blogging is my favourite hobby, as I love to write and it’s a nice creative outlet that keeps me busy. Sometimes too busy, but let’s not get into that one. At the moment I’m feeling really good about this one, and I’m looking forward with whats to come.
Get Better at Saving Money
This is more of a personal one, so I won’t go into too much detail. Luckily I’ve always been quite good at saving, but the house move has made me realise I need to be better. I’m thinking of making a spreadsheet so I can track everything properly, which I’m sure will shock some sense into me.
Improve my Baking
I love baking, I’d say it’s my second favourite hobby after blogging. Cookies and cakes are my favourite to make, but I want to work on my piping skills as I currently don’t have any. I’ve tried piping before and it always ends up horribly wrong, so I avoid making cupcakes all together. Which is something I would like to change. I’m sure I’ll be documenting this one over on Instagram.
Make Healthier Choices
Instead of going for the usual weight loss option, I thought I’d look at it from a different angle.I think part of my problem is that ‘lose weight’ is too broad and what I really should be doing is breaking it down into smaller goals that are more achievable. Which has led me to this goal; which is still quite broad, but I already have some ideas in mind.
Use Up More Makeup
I cannot tell you how happy I was to finish an eyeshadow, and I’d really like to carry that on. It’s great to be in a place where I get good use out of things, where as a couple of years ago, I was constantly trying new things, so nothing ever got properly loved. I may even start a project pan…
There we have it those are my 2022 goals!

Blogging more is one of my ‘unofficial’ goals of 2022. I let blogging slip last year, so hoping to get back into it this year. I also would love to use more makeup, the past 2 years I’ve hardly wore it, and I kind of miss it x

I have a similar goals to from saving money and to use all my makeup till hitting on the pan!
I used to buy lot of makeup almost every week until like two years ago I started cutting my expenses and telling myself to use all the products until I need to replace them and it been working great.

Blogging more is also a goal of mine. It’s something that is so enjoyable but because it is time consuming, I can sometimes put it off. However, I agree with you that blogging is a beloved hobby so I, too, want to focus on that more. Btw – your blog is so gorgeous!

Getting better at saving money is BIG on my list too! I really want to save up for a house one day and need to start sooner rather than later hahaha.

I love your goals for this year. Blogging more is on top of my list too! I can’t tell you how many times I try to avoid my bank statement. But I know it is better to just take a look, know where your at and start saving money in the right places. I hope you get to practice your baking piping skills too! I stopped blogging in 2021 too. I’ve already drafted 8 blog posts for this year. I realized it’s definitely a hobby I enjoy and I won’t give up on whether anyone reads my blog or not.
