Well… I’m not going to lie, I haven’t even thought about these goals for the past six months. I’ve had a lot of other things on my mind which pushed these to the back of the queue. I still wanted to do a completed update, as I feel like I’m finally in a place where I’m not mad at myself. I completely took the pressure off and learnt that its ok to not hit every single goal. Life happens and unfortunately I can’t do everything all at once.
This is: 2022 Goals How Did I Get On?
Blog More
Yikes... This went completely out of the window. It’s weird because I’ve wanted to blog, but I’ve struggled to sit down and actually do it. I feel a little lost with the content I want to create, and it’s meant blogging and Instagram have taken a back seat. Hopefully I find what it is I want to create soon.
Get Better at Saving Money
Well, I clearly didn’t predict a cost of living crisis back at the start of the year. This one has been really hard, as it seems like the price of everything has skyrocketed. To be honest this hasn’t been all bad, but I had visions of it being a lot lot better.
Improve my Baking
You may notice the lack of posts towards the end of the year, and thats because I struggled to find the energy to bake; the further into the pregnancy I got. I could’ve challenged myself a lot more, as I think I played it pretty safe. Saying that, if you follow me on Instagram then you’ll know that something managed to go wrong every time...
Make Healthier Choices
I’m not going to lie… this went completely out of the window. I’ve ate exactly what I wanted, when I wanted, and I’ve loved every second of it.
Use Up More Makeup
This didn’t exactly go to plan, as I’ve barely worn makeup this year. I’ve made a little bit of progress on things; as you can see from my project pan, but I haven’t gotten through as much as I’d of liked.
There we have it, that was 2022 Goals How Did I Get On?
Thank you for reading!

Honestly, I have no idea what my 2022 goals were. I’m not sure I even set any – as I didn’t set any yearly goals this year! I’m so glad you said you ate what you wanted and loved it, yessss x
Oh no way! Honestly, it was amazing haha xx
I love these styles of posts where you reflect on the goals that you set. Whilst you may not feel like you did great achieving these, I’m sure you achieved so many other things you never thought possible.
I am so glad you like them! That is so kind, thank you xx
Happy New Year, lovely!
I can hardly remember my 2022 goals, but I do know I kept them vague. I’m sure you’ve achieved way more than you say here, plus think of all of the outside-of-goals achievements you’ve accomplished! x
I never set goals so you are doing better than me! Love that you ate what you wanted! xx
Danielle’s Beauty Blog
I haven’t set any goals yet for this year and don’t remember if I did for last year! Opps!

I don’t set New Year’s resolutions for myself anymore but rather I try to follow a goal for at least a month and try to make it a habit after that. In 2022, I started reading before bed and I’ve been doing it almost every night since mid-2022 and I’m very proud of myself! ♥
I’m so glad you were honest about how you got on! I keeps posts real and more authentic. The fact that you had goals you wanted to achieve is already great, good luck this year! Wish you all the best with your 2023 goals x
I let blogging go completely out the window too, kets hope we both manage to keep it in our focus for 2023!
Kathleen
great post! I really know what you mean, after 8 years blogging too it is sometimes so difficult to get out of the creative rut – but so worth it when you do!
I went back to look at my goals too, and realized I did…okay. Some things I did really well, and other things I didn’t do that well. It’s still fun to see what I prioritized over the past year. I did pretty good using up a lot of my products. Not because I wore a lot of makeup, more so, because I didn’t buy any! I can’t wait to see what goals you make for 2023 🙂 xx
