It’s been a while, but I don’t think I could ever let the monthly favourites posts die. I’ve made it no secret that they’re my favourite to put together, and even though I haven’t posted one since March; nothing has changed. However this one has a lot more personal bits.
These are my July Favourites 2022.
L’Oreal | Lash Paradise Mascara
I went into the store with the intentions of picking up another tube of Maybelline’s Lash Sensational, but they were all out. Which led me to repurchasing this. I remember that I liked it, so I was pretty happy to be trying it out again. I took it on holiday with me, and it’s now gone up to one of my all time favourites. It’s a lot better than I remember it being, as it makes my lashes look fuller with a bit of a curl too.
Beauty Works | 10 in 1 Miracle Spray
I took this on holiday thinking it would be handy to have, but I might not use it. In the end I used it everyday whilst we were there. In fact, I dread to think about the state my hair would be in if I didn’t take it. On the first day I put my hair up into a bun, and the water from the pool turned it into one big knot. The bobbles wouldn’t come out, but it felt like I was about to rip my hair out. I used this, and the bobble came straight out and the brush ran straight through my hair.

Wow, it’s good to be able to travel again. The last time I went away was 2019, so it’s fair to say that I was ready to get back on a plane. We booked the trip back in May, and we stayed at Alexander the Great hotel, which was beautiful. They have an amazing sun-bed system, so you’re never left without, which takes a lot of stress out of the mornings. It was a really lovely trip and I’m glad we got one last holiday in for the two of us, before we become a family of three… four including Ralph.
Announcing Our Pregnancy
It’s so good to finally be able to post about this. We’ve known since May, but we didn’t want to tell anyone until we hit 12 weeks. When this gets posted I’ll be 17 weeks, but we’re still waiting for the second scan. Pregnancy so far feels very surreal, and a lot of waiting for the next appointment. We will also be finding out the gender, as I do not have the patience to wait until January to find out.
We Got Engaged!
Now this was a total surprise. You know how some people say they knew it was coming? I didn’t have a clue. It’s funny because I’ve always been the one to wind Jake up about getting married, but with us deciding to try for a baby, I didn’t think an engagement would be happening anytime soon. Mainly because Jake has always wanted a quick turn around, that we aren’t capable of doing anymore. It was a really sweet moment that I will never forget.

I actually switched out my Loreal Lash paradise for a maybelline lash sensational, and I have to say. This was my first time trying the Maybelline mascara, and I think I like it better than the lash paradise! I haven’t tried your other favorites, but I might have to check some of them out xx
