April Favourites 2015

Can I get away with another favourites post? Why not, let’s go for it.

April has been… quick. It feels like all I’ve done is work and then complain about college and work. Sounds brilliant, I know, but it has been a good month for trying products.

These are my April Favourites! Fancy seeing my 2017 April Favourites?

Maybelline – Colour Sensational  168 Petal Pink

I decided to do a swatch because the colour in the tube looked completely different on camera

I absolutely love this colour! The only way to describe it is Barbie Pink, and even though it is Barbie Pink it is not to neon. The lasting power is ok, it does have to be re-applied at some points in the day, but that is mainly after eating or drinking. I’ve kind of fell in love with the Maybelline lipsticks, as I think they’re quite moisturising and the quality of the colour is brilliant. £6.99 is a great price!

Maybelline – Super Stay Better Skin Foundation 005 Light Beige

It takes a lot for me to love a foundation, as I find it difficult to find a foundation that doesn’t cling to any dry patches.  I haven’t noticed better skin in three weeks, but that might have something to do with the fact that it hasn’t been three weeks yet. I’d say the coverage is medium to full, but it isn’t heavy to the point where you look caked in foundation. I use two pumps and that is plenty. The foundation costs £8.99, so can’t complain.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo – On and On Bronze

I have done a post on these, so I won’t go into too much detail, but I decided to include this because I have started to wear it a lot, because it is such a pretty colour that you can dress up or dress down. You can wear it own its own or use it as a base. The staying power is brilliant, the quality is brilliant and at £4.99 it is a brilliant price.

Maybelline – Lash Sensational

I’m sure that everyone has heard lots about this mascara as it is everywhere. As a person with really short natural lashes, I can say that I love this, as it makes the lashes look longer. I always used to use an eyelash curler, but with this I don’t have to use it, as my lashes look brilliant without using it. It doesn’t clump, but makes lashes look longer and also thicker. The price of this isn’t too expensive at £7.99

Rimmel – Scandal Eyes Precision Micro Eyeliner Waterproof

I used to use this liner a good couple of years ago, until I moved on to other things.  Until the time when the eyeliner I had set out to buy wasn’t in stock. When I wear this it doesn’t smudge. The lasting power is also really good, as I slept in makeup (I know it isn’t good, but it happened), and the eyeliner was still on and still looked just as dark as it did the day before and had only smudged a little bit. This costs £5.49.

River Island – Purse

If there’s one thing I love it is nice/cute purses. If you’re curious to see my current purse, there’s a picture on my instagram. (Little bit of self promo there). When I was in the store all of the other purses were £16, but this was £10, so I think it is quite a good bargain.

I think that’ll do, looking back over the post it is 90% Maybelline; can you guess which brand is my favourite? I promise to do a post soon that isn’t a favourites!

Those were my April Favourites!

Thank you for reading!
