I’ve seen these posts floating around for a while and I decided to give it ago! These are the lipsticks that I have worn throughout the day.
This is: A Week in Lipsticks.
NYX | Zurich
After including this in my ‘The Perfect Spring Lip Colours‘, I really wanted to wear it, as I will admit that I had kind of forgotten about it, until it came to doing that post. Zurich is a rosy nude with coral undertones which is absolutely stunning; especially for this time of year! I normally struggle with matte lip products, but this goes on like a dream and it is extremely light, so you forget that you have a lip colour on!
Too Faced | Chocolate Milkshake
I love the Too Faced Melted Lipstick and this one from the chocolate collection is my all time favourite. This is such a beautiful nude shade, as it is a light medium peach with a warm undertone. I do find this settles into lines after a few hours, but other than that it wears really well. It applies evenly and has a creamy finish.
Urban Decay | Backtalk
Another mention in my ‘Perfect Spring Lip Colours‘ post. Backtalk is a mauve nude pink that many people seem to love. It is a comfort matte finish, so think Satin. It is lightly hydrating and wears well. I went out for dinner wearing this, and it lasted really well until I ate a sandwich, but other than the sandwich it did great! It also doesn’t leave that ring around your lips; it fades evenly.
MAC | Twig
I must admit that I was going to wear Angel, but I didn’t want to include another lipstick from the other blog post. Twig is a warm mauve with a satin finish. Twig looks matte, but feels creamy and light weight. This also lasted all day!
ColourPop | Lumiere
This colour is my new favourite, I paired it with the matching lip liner and the finish is gorgeous. Lumiere is a dusty mauve pink with a matte finish. It is such good value for money, as it costs $5, it’s just a shame it’s American and costs an arm and a leg to get here. It doesn’t last very well through eating and drinking, but you can’t complain at $5.

There is my week in lipstick, and yes I have only done five days, as I haven’t worn makeup for seven days in a row! I also need to switch things up a bit, as there is clearly a theme here.

All of these are such gorgeous shades. I need to start wearing different shades as I currently just wear the same every day as it’s easy and I know it’ll last me all day! I have some lovely ones in my collection I need to use more.

Nyx Zurich is such a beautiful shade, I think I should go for some shopping very soon, haha. Now I’m waiting to get my first order from Colourpop, so I can finally try the famous Lumiere.
