In my previous Crown Brush Haul, I said I would keep you updated on how I have gotten on with the products and here is the first of three posts. Today’s post is all about the Crown Brush Lip Stain in the shade Dusty Rose.
First of all the colour is gorgeous! It’s definitely one for the Autumn and colder months, as it is a darker nude. This isn’t your seasonal berry colour. It’s a great alternative for those that don’t like those colours, but want something dark. Dusty Rose is described as a pinkish brown, which is spot on.
When I first applied this it felt quite sticky, but it soon wore off and it felt extremely lightweight. It’s a thin formula and goes on really easily as it’s really pigmented. You don’t have to start adding layer after layer, as one is plenty. It also has a matte finish, but because of how thin the formula is it isn’t that drying.
As this is a stain it has amazing lasting power, I wore this when I went out for food and you couldn’t tell that I had been eating and drinking at all, as it didn’t fade anywhere, so I didn’t need to reapply.
I was expecting this to be a pain to remove, but I actually found it really easy. I used a simple wipe and it came off with no problems. As I was fully expecting to have a ring around my lips where I couldn’t get it off, which has happened with previous lip stains.
This will cost you £9.99 which I don’t think is too bad, especially with how good the product is. I really can’t get over how well it lasted whilst eating and drinking, I mean you couldn’t tell at all which has never happened before.
Overall this is a really good stain and I will definitely be looking into the other colours!
Have you ever tried a lip stain?
