End of the month already? I know this post is extremely late, but this month has flown by and I’ve struggled to find a time to upload it. At the beginning of the year I set myself a goal of posting a monthly favourites post for the entire year. I thought it would be nice to look back and see what I was loving throughout the months.
Let’s get into my August Favourites 2017.
Crown Brush | Lip Stain Dusty Rose
This lip stain was gifted to me, but all opinions are my own. I fell in love with this after testing it for majority of the month, as it has amazing lasting power. I’ve never had an issue of needing to re-apply this after eating and drinking as it barely moves. The colour is a little dark for Summer, so I am very much looking forward to using this in the colder months.
Sleek | Solstice Highlighting Palette
I ordered this off of the Boots website and the packaging arrived broken, which means I get wary of using it just in case it breaks completely. In August I decided to really get stuck into this palette, as I know people love it. Let’s just say that I understand the hype. The shade in the bottom right corner has been my go to. It’s a beautiful copper peach with warm undertones and is simply stunning.
Crown Brush 35 | Rose Gold Eye Shadow Palette
This palette was gifted to me, but all opinions are my own. I have a full review of this palette where I swatched all of the shades, so I won’t go into too much detail here. Throughout August I have really enjoyed experimenting with warm toned red shadows, so I have been reaching for this palette a lot.
Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume
This is my go to Summer perfume, which means I have been reaching for it constantly throughout August.
The top notes are: Mandarin Orange, Ginger and Bergamot.
Middle notes of: Jasmine Sambac, Coconut and Frangipani
Base notes of: Vanilla, Cashmere Wood, Musk and Amber
It’s not as tropical as I expected, but it’s a nice change from the typical summer scents. It lasts all day and smells amazing.

I absolutely love jumpsuits. I find them the most practical thing to wear in the evenings on holiday, I couldn’t stop wearing mine. Quiz do some gorgeous jumpsuits, and I would highly recommend them as they’re such good quality for the price. Hope your little pup is doing well from the operation!

That Estee Lauder perfume sounds soo dreamy and I love the look of that Crown Lip Stain! I own the Sleek Solstice palette and I do love it, but I’ve since seen the Cleopatra Kiss highlighting palette and the shades definitely look more wearable in that one xo

Ooh all of these picks look so lovely! Enjoying those warmer tones at the moment – have a lip stain in a very similar colour. I think those orange and red shades are such a lovely alternative to black, especially with a hint of sparkle in the inner corner – perfect for autumn!

What lovely favourites. I haven’t done a monthly favourites for a while and realise I miss doing them. I love the sleek highlighting palette and I agree the shade is gorgeous and I reach for it the most as well. Pt he palette is well loved in my makeup bag at the moment.

Jumpsuits are some of my favourite pieces of clothing but I find it so hard to find ones that fit me properly. Nonetheless, most stores have a great variety of patterns, designs etc which are all so lovely. I love the look of that lip product
It can be hard to find ones that fit, mine doesn’t fit me perfectly either, but it’s wearable. There are definitely a lot of different ones about. It’s a great colour xx
