I don’t know why I opened the email. I was looking at the typical promotional email from Beauty Bay and towards the bottom I saw this highlighter. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I love highlighters, and this one looked gorgeous. I looked it up online to try to find a review, but I couldn’t find anything. Which I thought was a little strange, but I ended up getting it anyway. Spoiler alert: I’m really glad that I did.
This is my Doll Beauty Like A Diamond Highlighter Review.
The packaging is a really pretty shade of pink, and has the Doll Light over the front. It’s a pretty standard compact, but the colour is beautiful. Inside there is a decent sized mirror, and on the mirror it says: ‘Make Them Stare’, which I personally really like, as it’s something a little different to the other compacts out there.
The highlighter has hearts all over it, which is what drew me to it the most, as it is adorable.
Beauty Bay describe this as a soft pink, but in my opinion it’s more of a light champagne with small flecks of silver glitter. If you don’t like glittery highlight then you won’t like this, as it does contain chunky glitter. I find this is great for layering. If you want a subtle highlight then you’ll only need one swipe, but you can easily build it up for a stronger glow if you wish.
It also lasts all day, and costs £15. This highlight isn’t the cheapest on the market, but it’s not the most expensive either, it’s definitely more of a middle of the road. Which is perfect for the quality you get.
I got mine from Beauty Bay, but you can also get these straight from the Doll Beauty website.
That was my Doll Beauty Like A Diamond Highlighter Review. I’ve also picked out my favourite affordable highlighters, if you’re after something a little cheaper.
Have you tried Doll Beauty before?
