As soon as I picked this bath bomb up, I knew I had to review it. I’m still sceptical on the whole jelly aspect, but I’m interested to see how this compares to the other one that I have tried. I was left on the fence and I knew the way to make my mind up was Snow Fairy. It’s one of my favourite Lush scents, and I love everything I’ve tried in the range.
Let’s get into my Lush Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb Review!
The Price
All of the jelly bombs cost £4.95 and this one is no different. They’re more expensive than the regular bath bombs, but you’re paying for the jelly. It’s up to you to decide if that’s worth it. In my opinion I don’t think it it, as the jelly doesn’t make that much of a difference.

The Jelly
I still think the whole idea of having jelly floating around the bath is strange. Why would you want to bathe in jelly? However here we are. When I used The Big Sleep, it left a lot of chunks floating around the water, but this one didn’t do that. The jelly was a lot more fine and not really noticeable. That was until I noticed what I thought was a huge chunk of bath bomb taking its time to dissolve was actually jelly. Yeah, the whole thing is just weird, and I won’t be purchasing anymore jelly bombs.
The Scent
As the name of this jelly bomb would suggest, its Snow Fairy scented. Snow Fairy is extremely sweet; think sweets, sugar, candy floss and that kind of thing. I love it a lot, and repurchase the shower gel every year.

In the Water
Once in the water it slowly fizzes away leaving frothy white and pink behind. After a couple of minutes you can start to see a thin layer of jelly over the top, but it was very thin. It’s a slow process, and I just didn’t have the patience for it. It doesn’t help that the pink and white isn’t the most exciting combination. It’s not like Luxury Lush Pud where you have lots of beautiful vibrant colours.

That chunk in the middle is a big bit of jelly.
The End Result
I was disappointed. When I think Snow Fairy, I think pink. A strong vibrant pink. As you can see this was not that. It contained way too much white, so it left the water a really pale lilac. Which I was not expecting at all, and I was a little disappointed. It felt like it barely did anything, and for £4.95 I thought it would have more of an impact.

Overall
If I was on the fence about jelly bombs before, then this has chucked me right off it. I am now firmly in the disliking jelly bombs club. It’s just pointless, it doesn’t do anything, and I’ve enjoyed all of the regular bath bombs a lot more.
That was my Lush Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb Review.
Thank you for reading!

I’ve tried the Big Sleep and Secret Arts ones and I can’t say I was hugely impressed! I thought the colours of Secret Arts were incredible but the whole bomb didn’t dissolve and it left massive weird chunks behind and stained the bath a bit black/grey for quite a while… I recently got the snow fairy one in a giftset so I’m looking forward to trying it for the scent but still not sold on the whole jelly idea! Shame it didn’t live up to what you thought it’d be 🙁 I thought it’d be super pink too!

It definitely seems like not many people are impressed by these. Oooh that sounds a little strange, as least the colour was pretty! I hope you love the set! The colour is nice, but it was definitely unexpected xx
I’m honestly SO intrigued by the idea of a jelly bomb but I’ve also seen such mixed reviews! I’ve held off but maybe I’ll try one out in the future as I am so curious. Lovely review! xx Brynn
I hope you love it, if you try it. It is definitely a weird idea xx
Such a shame you weren’t a big fan! Is the Snow Fairy scent very strong?xx

It really does look beautiful in the water xx
I haven’t tried Lush’s jelly bombs before, but the initial swirls of the white and pink are so pretty, and the scent sounds lovely! It’s a shame that the final color was very pale though.

They leave really beautiful colours in the water for sure xx
Omg this looks amazing! I really want a Lush bath now xx
It does leave really nice colours in the water, and everybody’s got to love a Lush bath xx
Oh no, I hate when the water doesn’t go bright pink – or whatever colour I expected.
It was a shame, but it was still pretty in the water xx
It looks still super sweet even if it didn’t come out the way you expected it to x sometimes that’s what happens with lush but when you find the right one it’s perfect x really nice photos btw and love the lay out of your blog x
That is so true, it makes finding one you love that bit more special! Thank you so much, that means a lot xx
