The Original Review
I don’t know about you, but once I find a product that I really like it tends to be the only thing that I use. She says with drawers full of eyeshadow palettes… Saying that, it does tend to only happen with concealer. When I find one I love, I don’t stray too far from it. For a while, I was using the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Fair Neutral.
I first bought this a while back and never quite got into the swing of using it. There was just something about it at first that I wasn’t keen on, but I tried it again a few months later and completely fell in love.
Here is my honest breakdown of how it performed:
The Coverage
When I heard the name: “Naked Skin,” I assumed it would be a light formula with minimal coverage, but it isn’t. It’s actually a fantastic full coverage concealer, or ‘weightless complete coverage’, as it said on the packaging. I used this for highlighting under my eyes, and it was brilliant for it. It blended easily and stayed put.
Staying Power
Following on from that, let’s talk about the lasting power. I didn’t find this to crease, but I always set my concealer with powder, so that definitely helped in that aspect. I never had a problem with this moving either. Once it was on, it was on! It tended to last all day on me with no need for a top-up.
The Shade Range
There were 14 shades to pick from in this range. I have the lightest in Fair Neutral, which I found was light enough for under eye brightening. It’s crazy to think that a concealer range could launch with 14 shades. That’s tiny numbers compared to what get’s launched nowadays.
The Applicator
The applicator was a flat paddle rather than a traditional doe foot. I personally loved it, as it dispensed the right amount of product without needing to dip back in for more. It also didn’t tug on the skin under the eye when applying, but went on smoothly.
The Finish (Great for Dry Skin)
I have dry skin, and if you are looking for a hydrating concealer for dry skin, this is a great one! It didn’t cling to dry patches at all. Even with a setting powder, it still didn’t look dry. Instead, the finish was creamy, weightless, and natural.
The Price (From the Archives)
My least favourite part! Back when it was on the shelves, this cost £19.50, which wasn’t exactly cheap (though it was slightly cheaper than the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer which came in at £24). While we can’t buy it at that price point anymore, it’s a funny reminder of how makeup prices have changed over the years.
Overall Thoughts
This was a major favourite of mine that I loved for a long time. It stayed in place all day, and the shade Fair Neutral was a great colour for brightening. I do really like Urban Decay as a brand (I also love their palettes and lipsticks!), and this concealer was truly great.

I’ve tried this, in exactly the same shade too and I love it! I didn’t re-buy as I personally wouldn’t say the coverage was as good as my drugstore favourites so I didn’t feel the need to splash out again. But I agree with literally everything in this post, I wasn’t expecting to be as thick and creamy as it was. Definitely one of Urban Decays winning products!

Great review! I haven’t tried this one, but it looks good. Interesting to know that is offers full coverage, because you don’t usually expect that with these kind of concealers! My favourite one is the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer. It comes in a little squeezy tube and a little goes a long way!

I love this concealer too! It is pricey, but I definitely think it’s worth it, plus so many department stores do discount days so you can pick it up a little cheaper! Fab review! xx

So many have raved about this however I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on a concealer! I am faithful to Maybelline FitMe and Instant Age Rewind.

I remember this used to be my go-to concealer for a while; I also have dry skin and remember enjoying it until I have switched up my skincare routine and it started bunching up on top of my moisturizer (I blame it on the moisturizer). Have you tried their correctors? They are also very nice! x

Love the look of this concealer, I have dry skin too and struggle with finding the right product. I’m the same, when I find one I like I tend to stick with it. I’m always worried I won’t like it and will have wasted my money! I’m definitely going to investigate this one though.

This is for sure one of my favourite concealers now. I picked it up at the start of the month and I can’t imagine using anything else now, the coverage is great and wakes up my eye area for sure.

I do struggle to find a good concealer that doesn’t crease and has lasting power but maybe I’m just going wrong by being a bit cheap, i’ll splash out on foundation and palettes and more but never wanted to take the plunge with the high end concealers.
