March Favourites 2018

My first monthly favourites of the year! I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I love writing favourites post. I really enjoy looking through products I’ve used throughout the month and picking out my favourites. March seems to have flown by; which I know is really typical to say in these posts, but it’s so true!

These are my March Favourites 2018!

L’Oréal | True Match Foundation

March Favourites 2018 | L'Oreal True Match

I ran out of my all time favourite foundation (Which is Nars Sheer Glow.) Instead of rushing out to buy a new one, I decided to have a rummage through my draw, and use something I already have. In the end I settled on this one. This is the L’Oréal true match foundation in the shade 1.N Ivory.

As much as I love this, I do find that it clings to any dry patches. However after doing my skincare routine the night before, the foundation applies a lot better in the morning. The shade range is really large for a high street brand which is amazing. I did a full review of this in 2016, if you’d like to find out more.

Urban Decay | Naked Skin Concealer

March Favourites 2018 | Urban Decay Naked Skin

I did a full review on this not that long ago, so I won’t go into too much detail here. I’ve been using this for a while now, and its lasting ages. I keep thinking to myself, right it’s about to run out, but it carries on going. It is a little pricey side, but I think there’s enough product to justify it. The formula is amazing, it is not at all drying or cakey.

Physicians Formula | Butter Bronzer

March Favourites 2018 | Butter Bronzer

I’m sure everyone has heard of this. It’s a bronzer that everybody seems to love, and unfortunately it’s not easily available in the UK. There are four shades to pick from, and I ended up with the shade Bronze. Initially I thought it would be too dark, but it turns out to be the perfect colour. It’s pigmented, but not too pigmented, so it’s really easy to apply. It also smells incredible, it’s just like tropical holidays.

Tarte | Exposed Highlighter

This highlighter has been a real go to for me this month. Whether I wear it on its own, or use a little bit over something else. If you like your highlight subtle then this isn’t for you. It is really glittery, and gives a great intense glow. It’s nude colour, that is pale enough for me.

Makeup Revolution | Echelon Lip Kit

I have been loving this lip kit. In all fairness I probably use the liner more than the liquid lipstick, but they’re both stunning. I love the formula, as it’s so comfortable and lasts well. The lip liner is so creamy and applies really easily without tugging. They’re a darkish nude, which I find really flattering.

Nintendo Switch | Just Dance

I used to play Just Dance on the Wii all of the time, and loved it. It’s a great laugh to play with other people, but I’m finding it great exercise to do daily. It’s fun to do, and almost doesn’t feel like exercise. I know some people are a little cynical saying it doesn’t pick up your movements properly, but I don’t really care about the points, it’s just a bit of fun.

There are my March Favourites 2018!

What were you loving in March?

Thank you for reading!

Lovely selection here! Have you tried L’oreal Lumi? I think it works better for us with drier skin, definitely check it out next time! I also really enjoy that Tarte highlighter, I have it in one of the palettes and it is a lovely shade indeed! xx

I’ve heard so many good things about the Physicians Formula, and I still haven’t bought it. It’s actually super inexpensive, and I still haven’t had the change to purchase it. The last time I ran out of bronzer, I automatically re-bought the hoola bronzer. I think it’s time that I branch out a little bit, so maybe i’ll start buying some more, lmfaoo. Great post Hannah xxx

The true match foundation and the naked skin concealer are a few of my all time favourites as well!
I’ve never been able to find a good shade match in drugstore foundations, but True Match really nails it in the department.

I’d love to try theTarte Exposed highlighter… although I don’t usually go for the intense , the undertone looks pretty amazing!

I’ve seen lots of people rave about how much they love the butter bronzer, but, unfortunately, due to the fact it isn’t readily available here, i have never gotten my hands on it! Hopefully one day i will. I also love the shade of that lip kit, it seems like such an easy to wear colour xx

I am just so gutted that my Physicians formula bronzer broke, like actually gutted (lesson learned don’t travel with it!) Will need to repurchase as I actually think it will forever be my holy grail bronzer! Also I totally remember Just Dance! I had the proper retro old dance mat, wish I had a wii though as I would totally play it everyday too! xx

Real talk family dinner review!🤍 (Gifted/ invite) Real talk family dinner review!🤍
(Gifted/ invite)

We treated the kids to a meal out at weathervanemeirpark this weekend, and the family vibes were lovely. One of the biggest wins was that the staff brought over colouring pages and crayons for both kids without us even having to ask. Which is a lifesaver with two toddlers🥵

Noah and Ella were completely won over by the food. Noah cleared his plate of sausage, chips, and beans, and Ella was living her best life with pasta, corn on the cob, and chips (a toddler dream combo, let’s be real😂)

As for the adults, Jake loved The Big Melt burger. I ordered the Katsu Curry Feast, and we did have a little hiccup where my chicken looked a little pink, but I always judge a place by how they handle mistakes. The staff were absolutely brilliant, replaced it immediately, and even brought over a complimentary drink to apologise. Great customer service honestly makes all the difference.🫶🏻

It’s a super welcoming, stress free spot if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids this weekend.

Swipe to the very end to see Ella making sure no ice cream got left behind😂

Yesterday we headed to Drayton Manor for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! 🚂

The highlights:

🎢 We managed to hit all the rides we wanted.

⏱️ Queue times were super manageable—the longest we waited was 30 minutes, which is the absolute limit with a 1 and 3-year-old! 😂

🥵 It was too hot to make it to the zoo this time, but with animal-loving toddlers, we will definitely be back to check it out. 🐯
