Skincare never used to be my thing, but just recently I have been going mad for it. I have been on the hunt for something to shift my blackheads for ages, so it was great timing when an email from Misfit Cosmetics dropped in my inbox. A huge thank you to them for sending over the Blackhead Extractor Paste and the Wake Up Wipes for me to test and share with you!
Let’s get into the Misfit Cosmetics: Blackhead Extractor Paste and Wake Up Wipes Review*
The Blackhead Extractor Paste
First things first this little paste is cruelty free, which is amazing! To use, I cleansed and toned and then let my skin dry before going in with this. Once my skin had dried I put a small amount on the back of my hand, and then spread over the desired area. I was astounded by how far a little amount went, so I can see this lasting me a while. Which is always a good thing.
I apply this to my nose, but you can apply as little or as much as you like; just be sure to avoid your eyes, lips and brows. After 20-30 minutes you can start peeling off. To me it feels exactly like taking a plaster off, and I’m not too sure how I feel about it. It does feel a little painful, as when it dries it dries.
After peeling off I go back over the toner, and carry on with my skincare routine.
I really love this mask and found visible results, as it’s lifted the surface impurities, and I can’t see any blackheads remaining after using. Which is the ultimate goal. I almost forgot to mention the price, but this retails for £18.99, but you can currently get it on sale for £5, which is an absolute bargain!
Wake Up Wipes
I was a little unsure of these at first, as I’ve had a really bad reaction to face wipes before. First of all I used this on a tiny part of my face to see how my skin would react, before going in full throttle. Luckily my skin was fine, and I’ve been able to use them.
You get 25 wipes in a pack, and for £3.99, and I think that’s good value. These masks are great to use in the morning for a refresh and to as the name states: ‘wake up’. These wipes contain caffeine and cucumber, and they’ve really been helping with my redness. You can also use these to remove makeup, but I prefer to use them in a morning.
Overall I have been loving using these. I’m not keen on the packaging, but that’s just being picky. These wipes have been great for my skin and helping me look more awake, when I’m practically half asleep.
There we have it! I’m chuffed with the results I’ve gotten with both of these products.

The paste sounds really great, I stayed away from face wipes for so long for the same reason but I’ve been using them so much lately because essentially; I’m lazy. They’re also so handy for chucking in my bag if I’m travelling.

LOVE the sound of these. I get a few blackheads across my nose which are so hard to budge. I haven’t heard of this brand before but definitely one I’d try. Especially as you had good results!
