Five Things You Need To Try From ColourPop

This post contains affiliate links.

It is no secret that I love ColourPop. So I thought what better to do than to share five of my favourite things from them, that you should try. They have so many products that it can be hard to know where to start, so hopefully this post is helpful. I’ve also picked out some of my favourite shades.

This is Five Things You Need To Try From ColourPop!

Super Shock Shadows

If you’re going to try something from ColourPop then why not start with one of their most famous products? The Super Shock Shadows are unlike anything I’ve tried before. They’re a spongey, bouncy texture that are very creamy and pigmented. You have to apply them with your finger to get the best payoff. These are very long lasting, and you really can’t go wrong; just make sure to put the lid on tight or it’ll dry out…

My favourites are: Peekaboo and A Little Quarky.

Eyeshadow Palettes

I should probably recommend a specific palette, but I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with whichever one you pick. The pressed powder eyeshadows are seriously good quality whether that’s from a palette or their single shadows. If you get the chance, the Build Your Own Palette is a seriously good deal, and you get to pick each shade, to make a palette that you’ll love. The shadows blend really easily, and are long lasting.

My favourites are: Going Coconuts, California Love, Snake Eyes and Soo Good.

Lippie Stix

These are another product that ColourPop is known for. I have a few of these in the matte and creme formula and I love both of them. The formula is comfortable, and long lasting. It does fade a little bit with eating, but it’s nothing a quick touch up wouldn’t fix. There are a lot of colours to pick from too.

My favourites are: Aquarius and Lumière.

Lippie Balm

Probably unexpected, but I tried one of the lippie balms on a whim and fell in love with it. First of all I was thrown by the packaging, as it looks like a gloss from a 90’s/ 00’s magazine; which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just not what I thought a balm would come packaged in. This balm does work almost as a gloss too. It feels extremely moisturising, but it does leave the lips looking glossy. Which makes it perfect to go over lipsticks.

My favourite is By The Bushel.

Super Shock Highlighter

These highlighters have the same consistency as the super shock shadows, so it’s best to apply with your finger. They’re also extremely pigmented, so you don’t need that much to get an extreme glow. I like using these highlighter over a powder formula, as I find that I get the most out of them like that. Some have chunky glitter and others are a little smoother, so it’s all about finding the one that suits you.

My favourites are Spoon and Stole The Show.

There we have it: that was Five Things You Need To Try From ColourPop!

Have you tried any of these products?

Thank you for reading!

These are really good recommendations! My first introduction to the brand was through the Zoella collab, and I’ve not stopped using the products since the launch. I’m going to check these out on my next pay day wooo

I love this post! I bought from Colourpop once like 4+ years ago and eventually sold loads of it because I didn’t really use it much (back then the hype was Lippie Stix) and i wasn’t really one for bold adventurous colours (silly me) but NOW i’ve read this I want to rebuy it all again! The highlighters look INSANE!
Do they still charge for import / customs fees?

I don’t believe I’ve ever tried anything from ColourPop, ooops! I don’t really wear eyeshadow as it disappears by mid-morning but I very much like the look of the lipsticks. My colour choices would be the same as your faves, I love a good pinky nude. Thank you for the recommendations!

Thankyou for doing this post because I’m pretty much a makeup virgin only wear it once in a blue moon if I can be bothered or have time around my toddler, so I may actually make the effort in future ❤

Real talk family dinner review!🤍 (Gifted/ invite) Real talk family dinner review!🤍
(Gifted/ invite)

We treated the kids to a meal out at weathervanemeirpark this weekend, and the family vibes were lovely. One of the biggest wins was that the staff brought over colouring pages and crayons for both kids without us even having to ask. Which is a lifesaver with two toddlers🥵

Noah and Ella were completely won over by the food. Noah cleared his plate of sausage, chips, and beans, and Ella was living her best life with pasta, corn on the cob, and chips (a toddler dream combo, let’s be real😂)

As for the adults, Jake loved The Big Melt burger. I ordered the Katsu Curry Feast, and we did have a little hiccup where my chicken looked a little pink, but I always judge a place by how they handle mistakes. The staff were absolutely brilliant, replaced it immediately, and even brought over a complimentary drink to apologise. Great customer service honestly makes all the difference.🫶🏻

It’s a super welcoming, stress free spot if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids this weekend.

Swipe to the very end to see Ella making sure no ice cream got left behind😂
