At the end of December I spent a couple of days in Disney Land Paris. We went on the Eurostar, so luckily there wasn’t any restrictions with liquids, as I must admit I get panicky around that.
A few years ago I was terrible when it came to packing makeup for holiday. All of a sudden I’d find myself with the stuff I knew I’d use and other things; just in case. Now that I’m better with packaging I thought I’d share what I take with me. All of these things are what I use on a daily basis pretty much.
This is What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag?
I start off with a moisturiser before going in with foundation. It’s no secret that I love Too Faced Born This Way, and that’s what I’ve been using pretty much all of the time. I also packed my Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer, it’s full coverage and never leaves me looking dry. To set everything in place I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder to set under my eyes and then the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set the rest of my face.
Highlight and Bronzer
With having a slightly large makeup collection I like to try and use as much as I can to try and get through everything.
For bronzers I use the Milani Silky Matte bronzer to contour and then warm my face up with the Ocean Feel Bronzer from Kiko. Then for highlighter I start with the Wet n Wild Blossom Glow and then go over it with a little bit of the ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Stole The Show.
I also made sure to pack my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, which I received for Christmas and I’m very happy to have it back in my collection. It’s definitely one of the best setting sprays.
Can you believe that I only took one eyeshadow palette? I decided to take my ColourPop Single Shadow palette, as it has pretty much all I need. For eyeliner I took my all time favourite: Supercat liner from Soap and Glory; it’s been my go to for at least five years now. For mascara I always use two, so I decided to pack my Too Faced Better Than Sex and Maybelline Lash Sensational which make the perfect duo.
I know that I wouldn’t wear anything bold, so I decided to play it safe with the ColourPop Shake Lip Crayon and the Fenty Gloss in Fussy. This was the perfect duo, as I didn’t want anything drying, and they’re both the perfect nudes. Finally I had my ColourPop lippie balm, as a lip balm is always a necessity.
There we have it! That is all of the makeup I took to Disneyland Paris. It’s pretty much my everyday makeup, and it lasted all day. Even from the time we left the hotel at 7am and didn’t get back until 10pm; which is pretty good going.
