It’s been a while hasn’t it? It’s fair to say that moving threw a spanner in the works and I had so much to focus on that my blog had to take a back seat. After that I found it extremely hard to get back into it, but I’m here now. In other news I made a ColourPop order! It’s been a long time since I’ve bought any new makeup, and I forgot how much I like trying new things.
This is my May 2021 ColourPop Haul.
Cream Soda | Eyeshadow Palette
It’s not often that I get drawn to a palette on first appearances, but ColourPops new quads drew me in. In fact it was hard to pick just one, but in the end Cream Soda made it to my collection. Cream Soda is described as a soft pink palette, and I know that I can create my perfect day to day look with it. In the palette there are two mattes, a metallic and a glitter metallic which is a brand new formula. Let’s just take a minute to appreciate that there isn’t a pressed glitter.
That’s Taupe | Eyeshadow Palette
This palette has been on my wishlist ever since it released, but since I already own Going Coconuts and numerous other palettes; I put this off. However as a cool toned lover I couldn’t resist this palette any longer. One of the main reasons I had my eye on this palette is because it includes the shade ‘Snake Eyes’, which is one of my all time favourites.
Snake Eyes | Super Shock Shadow Duo

I have been loving throwing on a super shock shadow over an eyeshadow look to add that add extra glitter, and these shades really stood out. It also helps that I have heard plenty of good things about both of these shades. Ritz is a sheer nude with silver glitter. Koosh is a warm toned dark beige.
Ticklish | Lux Gloss
I see these glosses all over Instagram and I’ve had them on the wishlist for a while. It was hard to narrow it down to one shade, but I couldn’t resist this shade. Ticklish is described as a pale peach, and I know this will go with practically all of the lipsticks I own because I can’t remember the last time I wore a lipstick that wasn’t nude.
Frog | Super Shock Shadow
I have to be honest that I would not have purchased the next two things if they didn’t come in a set with the: ‘That’s Taupe’ palette. As the palette on its own was out of stock. I was debating on whether or not to get the set, but I liked the look of this shade. Which is what persuaded me to go for it. Frog is described as an icy silvery purple with rainbow glitter.
Bill | Super Shock Shadow
This is the other shade that came in the set and I definitely would not have picked this one up on its own. I tend to only reach for super shock shadows that are shimmery, so I’m not sure how I’ll get on with the matte formula. Bill is described as a light dusty mauve, and who knows; it could push me out of my comfort zone. Somehow I doubt it, but we’ll see…

Oh I LOVE Colourpop and the That’s Taupe palette looks amazing I was going to get Going Coconuts but maybe I will get this one instead. And I just got some lippies at the Sephora sale that are kind of similar to these. Thanks for sharing this CP haul!

Ahh it’s been years since I last shopped with Colourpop! Your haul is definitely a bit of me, especially the first eyeshadow quad 😍
Cream Soda is a beautiful little palette! I’d wear shades like this on a daily basis as they go with pretty much everything. Frog is another shade I really like, very neutral and sparkly – just what I like! Thank you for sharing this haul 🙂

Amazing haul! I need to try Colourpop’s super shock shadows! I have one in my Blush Crush palette and I love it, but I’ve always been so focused on palettes I end up not buying any singles. I also loved those quads, I wish I waited and got one of those instead of the What a Hoot palette. They looked so pretty!
