ColourPop is one of my favourite brands; if not my favourite. Which may be a pretty bold claim, but I love everything I’ve tried from them. One of my favourite products are the Super Shock Highlighters, as the formula is unlike anything I’ve tried before. Which has led me to todays post, I thought I would share my collection with you.
This is my My ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Collection.
The Packaging and Formula
The Super Shock Highlighters have a cream to powder formula which means they can be partial to drying up. It’s important to make sure the lid is on securely, as this will help the product to last longer. The wear time on these are all great too, as they last all day. I find that it’s best to apply them with your finger, as a brush doesn’t pick up much product.
Lunch Money
Lunch Money is a soft light gold with a reflective golden finish. It leaves a glow to the skin with a slight sparkle, but it’s not as intense as some of the others. It’s a lovely highlighter, but probably the one that I get the least use out of.
Spoon
I can’t seem to find this on the website, so I’m pretty sure it has been discontinued. Which I am very sad about, as I love this highlighter. Spoon is a light silver champagne with multi-dimensional silver flecks. I think that mine has dried up a little, as it doesn’t show a base colour anymore, but it still applies the flecks of glitter. I use this as a highlighter topper for highlighters that don’t have as much sparkle to them.
Flexitarian
This is ColourPop’s best selling highlighter, and it is easy to see why. It is described as a White Icy Champagne, and boy is it blinding. As much as I love this highlighter, it is hard work. It’s almost too blinding. Which is something I never thought I’d say. I have to apply a small amount and slowly build up, as it’s very easy to end up with a stripe.
Stole the Show
I have mentioned this highlighter a few times on the blog already, as I love it a lot. It is described as a light warm silver with flashes of pink, silver and gold. This is one of the sparklier highlights with more noticeable glitter. It’s not as glittery as Spoon, but it has more than the other two shades.

Wow, these highlighters are stunning. I don’t often use highlighter but I know how essential a good highlighter can be to a finished makeup look. I honestly couldn’t pick a favourite! They’re all so pretty!

I love Colourpop too! They’re highlighters are so pigmented and easy to apply, I have the shade Flexitarian and it’s so nice, but I really want to try Lunch Money now too because it looks really pretty x

I think Spoon and Flexitarian are my faves from your swatches! I’ve never tried Colourpop at all, so I haven’t tried these but they look beautiful! Perfect for Christmas party season too! xxx

I really need to try more from Colourpop but the last time I ordered I was lumped with a big customs fee so it put me off 🙁 It’s such a shame that spoon isn’t available anymore as that definitely would’ve been the one I went for! I used to be more of a white highlighter gal but since wearing more warm tones and gold shadows, the champagne ones have taken my fancy and I think they suit my skin so much better!

They don’t do custom fees anymore! It’s all added at the checkout, so you don’t get that dreaded card anymore. It really is, Spoon is such a beautiful colour. There are so many to pick from, but I feel you on preferring warm and gold tones xx
I bought one of these when I did a colourpop order because I had seen so much hype around them, but I never really got on with the product that well! But this post has inspired me to dig it out of my collection and get using it regularly!
