On my blog I talk a lot about the products I’ve tried, so I thought I’d flip it and write about brands I haven’t tried. Especially as more and more brands seem to be popping up nowadays. It’s impossible to keep up with all of the brands, so I’ve picked five that I haven’t tried and included if I think I’ll ever try it.
This is Makeup Brands I Haven’t Tried.
Hourglass
I’ve always wanted to try an Hourglass face palette, but I never liked blush so it didn’t make sense for me to buy it. Which led me to look at the individual powders, but I found it too hard to narrow down. Now that I’ve started to wear blush I am tempted to try one of their palettes.
Will I try it?: I’m very tempted.
Pat McGrath
I don’t think I’ve hear a bad thing about Pat McGrath products, but I had the shock of my life when I checked the website. £120 for an eyeshadow palette is a lot of money, that I just can’t justify. I think if I hadn’t of gone makeup crazy a few years ago then I may have treated myself to one of these palettes, but I have too many to work through as it is.
Will I try it?: I want to! Maybe on a special occasion.
Ofra
I’m always surprised when I remember that I’ve never tried Ofra. When the highlighters first started getting raved about, I’d have one in my basket, but never click checkout. I’m still not quite sure what put me off, because from the reviews I know I’d like it. I’ve always loved an intense highlighter and from what I’ve seen these are perfect.
Will I try it?: I’m not in a rush, but I’d like to try something.
Zoeva
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Zoeva over the years, but I’ve never tried anything. When I first discovered makeup I came very close to trying the brushes, but decided against it in the end. I’ve looked at the palettes, but something about them never drew me in.
Will I try it?: Probably not.
KKW Beauty
One of the main reasons I haven’t tried this brand is because of the shipping. It’s an American brand, so as well as paying for shipping, customs get added. I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t buy anything that has a customs charge because I find it so unnecessary. Even though I have to admit that I probably wouldn’t try anything even if customs weren’t a thing. Nothing has jumped out at me.
Will I try it?: Probably not.

I’ve not tried any of these brands either and I totally get the feeling of not being inspired to try some brands. I can’t put my finger on why exactly, but nothing really draws me in. I will check out some of the ones you mentioned here be a possibility for a purchase in the future though!

I have tried none of those either, but in my recent blog post I tried a highlighter from Jolie Beauty and was thrilled with it 🙂

Yeah, there a lot of new cosmetic brands these days. There are a lot of brands I haven’t tried either. I also don’t know if I will try some of them or not. I’m quite picky when it comes to cosmetic brands.
There really are! It’s so hard to try them all as so many pop up. Me too xx
Ohh so many brands that I love on this list!! Pat McGrath truly makes some of my favorite shadows – but I would recommend to wait until she has a sale. Throughout the year, she usually holds a couple of 25-30% off sales that bring her 10-pan palettes under $100!
Ofra makes some stunning highlighters and KKW actually creates a lot of lovely neutral basics!

Pat McGrath is definitely a tempting brand, but so so expensive as you say! I don’t think I could ever bring myself to spend that much money on one item haha. One brand I haven’t tried before is Huda Beauty, and a few days ago I finally treated myself to one of her products – the Desert Dusk palette, which I’ve been in love with ever since it came out! Can’t wait to try it out!! x

I’ve recently got into Pat McGrath and I’ve got to admit it’s amazing! It’s definitely very pricey but the formulae are phenomenal. The Sublime Perfection Foundation is my new favourite foundation! Obviously the products are pricey but they might be good to ask for birthday presents so you can try the brand out.
I’ve also not tried Ofra. Although some of the highlighters sound amazing, there are always brands I’m more drawn to! x
I haven’t tried these makeup brands before either. I usually just stick to what I know I like before trying out any new ones.
I’m dying to try Hourglass too. Their Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow look stunning x
