It’s finally time for another empties post! I have no idea why I only post these about once a year, but it’s finally time for another. In this post I’m going to talk you through the products I’ve used up and whether or not I would repurchase. This is Empties #4.
Let’s get into it!
Urban Decay | Naked Skin Concealer
This concealer seemed to last me ages, but I’ve finally been able to use it up. (Obviously) I really enjoyed using it, as it’s full coverage, but blends out really easily. It also never creased, but I always set it with powder. I have dry skin and this never emphasised any dryness, instead it’s creamy and weightless. I do have a full review on this, if you would like to read more.
Repurchase?: One day! I want to use others first.
Urban Decay | All Nighter Setting Spray
I’ve never really spoken about this setting spray on my blog, which is strange considering how popular it is. This is the setting spray that is forever getting recommended and raved about. For good reason, as it is definitely one of the best. This spray keeps your makeup in place, and it will not move. This leaves the skin matte, which means it’s not the one I reach for when my skin is especially dry. It is definitely the best matte setting spray that I have tried though!
Vita Liberata | Body Blur
I mentioned this in myApril Favourites, as I wore this a lot back then. The Body Blur is supposed to cover blemishes, cover imperfections and smooth skin. It’s also got a colour to it, so it works as a tan too; which is what I used it for. I will admit that I am a lazy person. The idea of the whole tanning process makes me feel tired just thinking about it. Which is why I opted for this. With this you apply it and you’re good to go pretty much straight away. The only problem with this is that it washes straight off. It doesn’t transfer, but it will come off in the shower. It also blends in incredibly easily, as it is so quick and easy to use.
Repurchase?: I’m too lazy to not own this.
The Body Shop | Vitamin E Moisturiser
I’ve spoken about the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop quite a few times on my blog, as I love it. If you have dry skin then this is the range for you. Pretty much my whole skincare routine is from that range, and my skin has never been so good. Anyway, this moisturiser is my new favourite. I never know what skincare to go for, and with The Body Shop being so affordable it’s a no brainer. It’s not greasy and absorbs quickly.
Repurchase?: I’m already half way through another tub!
The Body Shop | Vitamin E Hydrating Toner
I’m not exactly a toner expert, but I love this one. I use this after cleansing, by taking a small amount on a cotton pad. You really don’t need a lot with this, so the bottle lasted me a while. My skin always feels so clean and refreshed after using too, which is always a bonus.
Repurchase?: I’m trying other toners first, but definitely one day!
The Body Shop | Banana Body Yogurt
I love the scents from the body shop, but my favourites always end up being limited edition. Which unfortunately this one is. The banana scent from the body shop is one of my favourites, so hopefully they re release the skincare range. The body yogurt just may be may new favourite moisturiser, taking over from my old favourite. The body yogurts absorb quickly and don’t leave you feeling greasy. I also feel like this lasts longer and my skin feels softer for longer.
Essie | Fiji
This is the first nail polish I have ever used up, and I’m counting that as an achievement. It’s kind of sad I know. Whilst doing my declutter, I realised this was practically empty and whilst I tried to paint my nails with it, it just wasn’t working. Fiji is my all time favourite nail colour, I love a pale pink that is easy to work with and that is exactly what this is. it doesn’t take layer after layer to build up. I always use two layers and the colour is opaque.
Repurchase?: Yes, it’s my all time favourite colour!
Too Faced | Festival Refresh Setting Spray
I had this setting spray sitting around in my collection with just a little bit left, so I made the conscious effort to use it up. It was released last year, as part of a limited edition collection, so I won’t talk about it too much, as you can’t get it anymore. I wouldn’t say this is a bad setting spray, but it’s not one of the best. It’s average, and I’m not mad that it’s not available anymore. This was a dewy setting spray, as it contained glitter, so the bottle had to be shook before use in order to mix the glitter with the formula.
Repurchase?: Even if it wasn’t limited edition; probably not.
That’s it for Empties #4. I really like empties posts, so I’m baffled as to why mine are always years apart. Hopefully the fifth empties post arrives earlier than December 2020.
